A legal disclaimer

Registration and Eligibility

  • Age Limit: Participants must be 14 years of age or older on the day of the event.

  • Responsible Registration: Registration for this event is Free. However, significant resources (T-shirts, Bibs, Water, Juice) are allocated based on registration numbers. By registering, you pledge to attend. If you are unsure of your participation, please do not block a spot that could go to another enthusiast.

  • One Entry Per Person: Duplicate registrations for the same individual are not allowed and may be cancelled.

Kit Collection (Mandatory)

  • Collection Date: All participants must collect their Bibs and Event Kits on Saturday, 10th January 2026 at Vivekananda Sports Square, Gubbi.

  • No Event-Day Collection: To prevent overcrowding, no Bibs will be distributed on the morning of the event (Sunday). Participants without a valid Bib will not be allowed to officially start or claim resources.

Health and Fitness

  • Participants declare that they are medically fit and adequately trained to complete the 5K Run or Walkathon.

  • If you have any underlying medical conditions (heart issues, asthma, etc.), please consult a doctor before registering.

  • The organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from continuing if they appear to be in physical distress.

Event Conduct & Safety

  • Route: The event starts and ends at Vivekananda Sports Square. Participants must follow the designated route and instructions given by volunteers and traffic police.

  • Zero Waste Policy: This is an eco-friendly event. Please dispose of water cups and waste ONLY in designated dustbins. Do not litter on the streets of Gubbi.

  • Decorum: Participants are expected to treat fellow runners, volunteers, and local residents with respect.

Liability Waiver

  • Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Vivekananda Sports Square LLP, its partners, sponsors, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, accident, loss of property, or death that may occur during the event.

  • Ambulance and First Aid support will be available for emergencies.

Photography and Media

  • By participating, you grant the organizers permission to use photographs, motion pictures, and video recordings of you during the event for legitimate promotional and advertising purposes.

Event Cancellation/Changes

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify the route, timing, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, government regulations, or safety concerns). In such cases, updates will be communicated via the registered contact details.
